We use this magic liquid to keep the cut edges of ribbon or fabric trim from unraveling. It dries in a flash, and it dries clear. (Caution: Don't use this on thin silk as it may stain).

Artisan's Tip: Apply a line of Fray Check along the line you are going to cut BEFORE cutting your ribbon or trim. That way, even embroidered ribbon (which frays the minute you even breathe on it) won't have a chance to unravel.
